Hostinec Palatín at Pálffy Manor has once again opened its doors, and we have prepared a surprise for our guests in the form of 4 seasonal additions to our à la carte menu.

The preparation of the new dishes took almost two months, during which the entire team of chefs at Hostinec Palatín created, innovated, and sought unique flavor combinations, the results of which you can now savor. As you have come to expect from us, the preparations focused on using traditional seasonal ingredients, which were combined to create extraordinary tastes. This resulted in modern dishes that not only delight the palates of the most discerning guests but also satisfy aesthetic sensibilities, as the new dishes are true masterpieces on a plate.

“I was inspired by traditional dishes from old cookbooks, and I admit that I included some of my personal favorites in the new menu. Together with my team, we strived to make our dishes special with something unconventional that would highlight the uniqueness of traditional flavors while also providing us chefs with room for creativity,” describes Head Chef Jozef Riska.

The process of creating the new dishes involved careful consideration of technological procedures, seasoning, refining the service itself, and necessary consultation regarding wine pairing from our ViaJur winery. The result is four main courses and one new dessert, which have already received numerous compliments from our guests upon their introduction. We can certainly recommend them.
All new dishes feature seasonal ingredients that were an indispensable part of Austro-Hungarian cuisine. Winter seasonal dishes prominently include game meat, incorporated into two of the offerings. In creating the new à la carte menu, we considered everyone, ensuring that vegetarians can also enjoy a culinary experience. Naturally, a portion of the original menu, which was popular with our guests, has been retained.
