VIAJUR WINERY BEGAN THE TRADITION OF A NEW WINE EVENT UNDER THE SMALL CARPATHIANS

The Small Carpathian region is known for several wine events, and last weekend our ViaJur winery successfully joined the tradition of wine routes. On the last day of April, Saturday, April 30th, the gates of the Pálffy cellars at Pálffy Manor in Svätý Jur opened. The winery ceremoniously began the tradition of the 1st annual wine event called Journey Through Jur to ViaJur.
THE 2021 NOVELTIES WERE OF PARTICULAR INTEREST

More than 350 wine lovers tasted samples of all our wines. However, the 2021 novelties were of particular interest. The new wines from our production were appreciated not only by our guests. In the short time they have been on the market, many have already earned their first awards. According to our statistics, after the event, wine lovers took home the most of our exceptional novelty, Riesling Liebling from our Ars in vino, vinum in arte line.

You can purchase the Riesling at our wine shops at Pálffy Manor in Svätý Jur and at Hotel Lomnica in Tatranská Lomnica, as well as in our e-shop: ViaJur | Selaví (selavi.sk)

The second most purchased wines were Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Rosé from the Klasik line, followed by our Traminer and Dunaj.
Visitors to the event were able to view the impressive spaces of the modern winery, which connected the historic cellar spaces with a functional modern section. Wine production in the cellars of Pálffy Manor in Svätý Jur began more than 600 years ago, and ViaJur winery continued this historic lineage in 2016.
A rich accompanying program was also part of the event.

Entertainment was provided by Adam Ďurica and Milo Kráľ Band, and guests could also compete for interesting prizes throughout the day.
Our ViaJur winery is a continuation of an exceptional historical story, of which Pálffy Manor in Svätý Jur is an important part. In the historic Pálffy cellars at Pálffy Manor, the ViaJur brand officially began forging its wine path in 2016. Today we can say that it has been successful and progressive.
