Two states, two brands, two teams, two paths, yet a common goal…

You might not even think to draw a parallel between the renowned Czech concept Salabka and our Pálffy Manor, but if we delve deeper, we will discover that we share many similarities. Our own wineries and a history of wine production, which in Salabka’s case dates back to the 13th century, while here in Svätý Jur, we have ‘only’ 600-year-old cellars and a 600-year-old story.
Similarly, we have our own authorial tasting concept, based on local ingredients and a return to traditions.
However, we have infused tradition with inventiveness and a touch of playfulness and ambition. We constantly push our boundaries, creating sophisticated and playful gourmet experiences.
Exclusive dishes harmonizing with beverages
The perfect harmony of wines and tasting courses is strictly, yet lovingly, overseen by two teams from Salabka and Pálffy Manor, who deepen their experience and knowledge directly in the vineyards and cellars of their own wineries. Culinary and sommelier artistry intertwine in a harmonious whole of perfectly balanced wine pairings. The evenings will feature a special wine pairing from our ViaJur winery. You also have the alternative of an exclusive water pairing, where you will have the opportunity to taste a special selection of Slovak and Czech mineral waters.
SALABKA

Salabka is situated in a boutique vineyard in the hills of the Prague – Trója municipal district. Wine has been cultivated and processed here since the 13th century into excellent wines and spirits. Creative and modern cooking under the direction of Chef Petr Kunc, with many years of experience from Michelin-starred restaurants, emphasizes local ingredients and products. The dishes are seasonal and imaginative, full of flavors and textures. The Salabka restaurant is among those listed in the Michelin Guide.
Kaštieľ Pálffy

It is located near Bratislava, in Svätý Jur, and is a place where history, culture, and experience converge. The art of wine, born in cellars over 600 years old, is elegantly intertwined with top-tier gastronomy. This is inspired by authentic Austro-Hungarian cuisine and traditional dishes from the Small Carpathians region, with a modern spirit. The team, led by creative chef Tomáš Ševčík, will demonstrate culinary artistry directly before your eyes, enhancing the experience of the tasting menu. In the exclusive representative spaces of the Habsburg Salon within the manor, you will be able to enjoy experiential gastronomy, unique creations from premium ingredients in a visual arrangement that creates masterpieces on the plate.
