Dear visitors of Pálffy Manor, in view of the approved new version of the COVID AUTOMAT and the related decrees issued by the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZSR), which come into effect on Monday, 27 9. 2021, we would like to inform you, in accordance with the currently valid and effective ÚVZSR decree, which sets out the obligations of operators to provide information:

PLEASE OBTAIN THE RELEVANT PROOF OF VACCINATION

The currently valid and effective ÚVZSR decree allows the operator of Pálffy Manor, PALK, a. s., and its employees to require any person entering the indoor or outdoor premises of Pálffy Manor to present the relevant proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. The operator of Pálffy Manor, as well as its employees, is authorised to inspect this document.

 

All currently valid and effective ÚVZSR decrees, as well as those of the relevant Regional Public Health Authorities (RÚVZ), can be found on the website of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic / Government Gazette of the Slovak Republic / 2021 (https://www.minv.sk/?2021-2).

 

In response to last-minute requests to change the date of a reservation for premises or a table at the Palatín Inn or the Habsburg Salon due to a deterioration in health, we will cancel or reschedule the reservation depending on your request and availability.

PUBLIC AREAS

In the manor’s public areas, please disinfect your hands and wear an FFP2 respirator. Disinfection stands are also available for you and are located throughout the manor.

We prefer contactless payment.

We place increased emphasis on disinfecting all high-touch surfaces in Pálffy Manor, the Palatín Inn and the VIAJUR Wine Bar.

COMMON AREAS, LIFTS, TOILETS

We disinfect and clean all public areas of the manor and high-touch surfaces more frequently.

We recommend using the lift alone or, in the case of members of the same household, a maximum of 4 persons.

Restrooms are equipped with liquid soap, disinfectant and disposable paper towels.

PALATÍN INN

Before entering any food and beverage outlet, please disinfect your hands with an antibacterial solution.

During your visit to our restaurant, please wear an FFP2 respirator, except when consuming food and beverages. Please maintain the required distance.

We regularly disinfect tables and equipment.

We prefer contactless payment.

In the dining areas of the manor, in accordance with Slovak legislation, we follow the instructions of the Public Health Authority, which ensures strict compliance with food control, storage and processing, as well as hygiene; in this spirit, we provide regular mandatory staff training.

Indoor dining is permitted. We will be pleased to serve you during the Palatín Inn opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00–22:00.

The VIAJUR Wine Bar is available from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 20:00.

STAFF

We regularly train our staff on anti-epidemic measures. Every employee who comes into contact with a guest is required to wear a respirator throughout their entire shift and to consistently follow all hygiene measures.

Staff areas are equipped with disinfectant.

Employees are required to disinfect their hands when entering the manor through the staff entrance.

Our employees are required to inform their supervisor about travel outside the Slovak Republic, or movement in high-risk areas and regions. Employees who have been in a high-risk country, or in an area or region of the Slovak Republic designated as high-risk by a decision of the Public Health Authority, are required to undergo testing before coming/returning to work and, where applicable, to remain in home quarantine in accordance with the current instructions of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic.

Thank you for accepting any potential inconvenience in our service offering.

We continue to monitor current developments and government regulations and adjust our services and the manor’s premises based on the latest information. In this situation, we also follow the guidance of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants (of which we are a member), which works closely with the Public Health Authority and issues regular (weekly) guidelines and instructions for the operation of the manor’s common areas and dining facilities. We also cooperate with our contracted Occupational Health Service when consulting on measures for the gastronomy and hospitality segment.
