Beer goulash, steak tartare, or the legendary Tafelspitz, paired with a perfectly chilled, honest beer. The popular concept from Tatranská Lomnica can now also be enjoyed in Svätý Jur. The new PaB Kaštieľ Pálffy will delight more than just beer lovers. Furthermore, the opening weekend will feature a supporting program and gifts for children.

The Hostinec Palatín restaurant at Kaštieľ Pálffy has been operating since its opening,
however, a new format arrives with the start of the year. The new PaB Kaštieľ Pálffy will bring a fresh perspective on traditional Austro-Hungarian cuisine, complemented by honest craft beer directly from the Pálffy Brauerei brewery. The brewery is already an integral part of the manor house. The potential of the space and our own beer production will thus be transformed into a new pub, which will be the second establishment under the PaB name after Tatranská Lomnica.
The concept is built on our own craft beers and dishes designed to perfectly complement the Pálffy Brauerei brewery’s offerings. “For the recipes, we were inspired by traditional dishes that have always been associated with beer, but guests will also find specialties such as beer custard slices or beer goulash on our menu. Where great beer is on tap, a proper goulash cannot be missing. Our guests will find it prepared from tender pork cheeks, braised with our 11-degree Vienna semi-dark lager, the beautiful Otto,” explains Jaro Bachleda, Executive Chef of PaB Kuszmannov bazár, who is behind the entire menu of both restaurants. The kitchen of PaB Kaštieľ Pálffy will be led by our Head Chef Patrik Andrejčák, who also headed the Hostinec Palatín restaurant. “At Hostinec Palatín, we also focused on Austro-Hungarian cuisine. We intend to continue that, but guests can look forward to dishes more closely tailored to the beer itself. In addition to beer classics like steak tartare or specialties like beer goulash, the menu will also feature the legendary Tafelspitz—a specialty of Austrian cuisine,” says Patrik.
We are opening the new restaurant in Svätý Jur as early as Tuesday, February 4.
During the opening weekend of February 7–9, a supporting program, gifts, and a special offer for the residents of Svätý Jur also await you. We believe the new beer hall will become a favorite place for relaxing with family or meeting friends for people from the entire surrounding area.
