Beautiful sunny, warm days are an open invitation to enjoy a well-chilled, perfectly poured craft beer. In Svätý Jur, you can savour it in the unmistakable atmosphere of Kaštieľ Pálffy. Today, 13 May, the first beers brewed in the brewery were tapped at the Palatín Inn
Pálffy Brauerei – PaB. You will find it directly in the manor courtyard.
As of today, the first three beer styles are available.
You can refresh yourself with a Pilsner-style pale lager – Jozefova desinka for refreshment. It is an unpasteurised, bottom-fermented draught beer of a golden colour, with a malty body and bitterness from the use of Czech hops.
The Palatín Inn also offers an IPA-style draught special – Rudyho záletnícka IPA, a pale to semi-dark, unfiltered, unpasteurised, top-fermented beer.
And the first trio is rounded off by a wheat beer 12% – Lotrinského štýlový weizen. The beer is pale, unfiltered, unpasteurised, top-fermented, with a delicate velvety haze.
Three more beers will be added to the selection very soon.
As you may have noticed, the beers have truly distinctive names, and all are connected to the Habsburgs. Why them? Well, why not? At Kaštieľ Pálffy in Svätý Jur
loyalty to the Habsburgs is also recalled by a lounge named after this ruling dynasty. In this lounge, you can admire original portraits of members of this family, the rulers of Austria-Hungary. We symbolically invited them to visit our brewery to taste our craft beer. Several accepted the invitation to PaB / [pub]u.
