Thanks to our collaboration with the VIVA MUSICA! festival, we welcomed the legendary Czech artist Iva Bittová to the courtyard of Kaštieľ Pálffy on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Following a successful sold-out first concert in Bratislava, it was an honor to host this phenomenal musician in the courtyard of our manor as well.
Iva Bittová, a Czech singer, violinist, and actress, is known in the music world for her unconventional approach, with her work transcending the boundaries of multiple styles. At the VIVA MUSICA! festival, the musician, along with cellist and composer Anil Eraslan, presented her new musical project What My Father Sang to Me, which blends folk songs and Central European culture.
The incredible charisma of the legendary musician resonated throughout the entire venue. Thanks to the exceptional atmosphere of Kaštieľ Pálffy, visitors had the opportunity to experience a beautiful evening. Our manor staff ensured everyone’s comfort, preparing a selection of refreshments from our Snack Menu, as well as homemade crackling scones and sweet baked popsicles. Guests could also choose from a wide range of wines from the VIAJUR winery, craft beers from the Pálffy Brauerei brewery, and other refreshing drinks from our Hostinec Palatín restaurant. Additionally, a guided wine and beer tasting was held before the performance. We thus provided visitors with the truly unique and comprehensive experience that our manor offers.
For our social media fans, we organized a competition on the Kaštieľ Pálffy Instagram profile for a stay in the Imperial Suite combined with this unique concert. We trust the winner enjoyed a weekend they will fondly remember.
