we cordially invite you to the popular ViaJur Winery event on Saturday 29 April 2023 at Pálffy Manor, in the picturesque town of Svätý Jur. Once again, the gates of the manor’s majestic cellars will open, inviting you to taste new wines as well as older vintages from ViaJur Winery.
Admission to the event is free!
Tasting tickets for the manor cellars can be purchased in advance at a special price of €15 or on site for €18. Tickets will be entered into a prize draw for fantastic prizes!

The whole family will have fun with us. Barrel rolling and other competitions await you throughout the day, magician Talostan, children’s creative workshops, face painting, and rides in historic vintage cars.
Visit the historic gem of Svätý Jur and take advantage of the unique opportunity for an exclusive autograph session with the stars of TV Markíza’s most-watched series – DUNAJ, K VAŠIM SLUŽBÁM. The event will be attended by the main protagonists of the saga: Ján Koleník, who plays the German soldier Walter Klaus; Lesana Krausová, whom we know as the shop assistant Alena Valentová; Petra Dubayová, known as the shop assistant and talented singer Eva Dušeková; and Marek Rozkoš, who portrays Peter Kučera, the youngest son of the family that owns the Dunaj department store. The screenwriter Evita Twardzik Urbaníková will also attend.
Inside the manor, the magnificent coronation gown of Empress Sisi will also be on display. This perfect replica is a new jewel of the High Tatras at Hotel Lomnica and will travel to Svätý Jur only for this exceptional occasion.

Discover the beauty of our wine with Elizabeth Gabay
Elizabeth Gabay MW is a leading global Rosé expert, writer, consultant, and respected wine judge, and holds the Master of Wine title. ViaJur Winery’s collaboration with Elizabeth Gabay began with a unique idea to create a rosé wine together with our winemaker Tomáš Dilong.
At the event, Elizabeth Gabay will present the new ViaJur rosé wine made from the Dunaj variety from our vineyards in Farná. The wine will be filled into popular and eco-friendly “take away” cans.

The modern, progressive ViaJur boutique winery continues a historic story in which Pálffy Manor in Svätý Jur plays an important role.
In its historic cellars, winemakers have been producing wine since the 16th century. It was in this noble place that the ViaJur brand officially set out on its winemaking journey in 2016, with the aim of preserving and developing local traditions and the art of winemaking. The result is wine of exceptional quality, recognised at both domestic and international competitions.
The story of our winery began with a love of wine
“Pro rege et patria” (For king and country) is a motto from the past whose meaning is timeless. Quality wines with an unmistakable taste, made according to proven traditions, refined by modern technologies and the latest insights, belong on the table of all wine lovers and gourmets.
The flagship of our winery is the “in vinum, vino in arte” collection (Art in wine, wine in art). Wine is an artistic work brought to life by the winemaker and nature, preserved in a bottle and adorned with a label featuring a reproduction by an academic painter. It combines the individuality of two artists—the winemaker and the painter. The wines in this collection are made from carefully selected grapes of the highest quality.
The exceptional approach and care of both the viticulturist and the winemaker, together with the striking design, guarantee that an artistic experience reaches you. You will be able to enjoy the Ars in vinum, vino in arte collection, as well as many other wines, during the 2nd edition of the event A JOURNEY THROUGH SVÄTÝ JUR TO ViaJur.
