Discover the enchanting world behind the manor gates during the upcoming Advent season. After a year, our courtyard will once again illuminate with magical lights and the joy in our visitors’ eyes. We are preparing a rich program for you—come and make your wait for Christmas more pleasant at Pálffy Manor.
A Little Christmas Village
Starting from December 1st, we await you every week until Christmas in our little wonderland. We will warm you with an offering of hot beverages and delicious Christmas treats every Friday through Sunday. At the stalls in our Christmas courtyard, you will also be able to purchase beautiful handcrafted products from local artisans.
The Courtyard Will Be Frosty but Festive
Starting November 20th, our courtyard will be frozen regardless of the weather. In addition to the Christmas tree, it will be dominated by an ice rink, which will be accessible to all interested visitors until December 17th during the manor’s standard opening hours from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Every Saturday, a musical program will ensure the perfect Christmas atmosphere. Starting at 6:00 PM, saxophonist Martin Guček will play the most beloved Christmas hits for all visitors.
Christmas Delicacies from Palatín Inn
Hot punch, hearty cabbage soup, and something sweet all belong to Christmas. Young and old alike will find something to enjoy from the Christmas delicacies offered by Palatín Inn. In the courtyard at the Pálffys’, we will be delighted to serve you every Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Advent Sundays for the Little Ones
TdPaslík
We will launch our series of children’s performances with the puppet theater TdPaslík. The story’s main hero fearlessly sets out into the world to stop the sun so that his friend the sunflower will not wither in autumn. On his journey, he experiences extraordinary adventures, forms inseparable friendships, and in the end…what happens in the end you will be able to see at our manor on December 3rd. This interactive performance full of cheerful songs will delight all children.
After the performance, Saint Nicholas and his helpers, an angel and a devil, will be waiting for all the children.
FÍHA Tralala
On December 10th, all children will be dancing to the performance FÍHA Tralala. A fairy-tale world full of songs, poems, and stories for children is among the most popular and cheerful children’s productions. The elf FÍHA with his fairy-tale show will bring joy and good spirits through beloved songs.
The Water Cycle
We will conclude our Advent program for children on December 17th with the puppet performance The Water Cycle. This cheerful performance with songs tells the story of the droplet Medarda, who is a great favorite to win the water race. During her journey, however, she discovers that helping others is more important than any victory.

While the dominant feature of our courtyard is a 300-year-old linden tree, at Christmas it will be slightly overshadowed by our illuminated Christmas tree. Christmas at Pálffy Manor will be magnificent, so come and enjoy this atmosphere with us. We look forward to seeing you.
